Hello Year 5 I hope you are all well. Last week I set some questions for embedded learning on our topic - Rivers. Thank you to Alex who sent in a powerpoint in response to the questions set. Now come on Year 5 it's still not too late for the rest of you to send in your answers too. I keep saying it - I would love to see what activities you have all been doing. It does not have to be something that I have set for you, it can be any other activities that you have done. Some examples could be baking, sewing, DT, art. You just have to take some photos and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
John Constable was a landscape artist. Read through the powerpoint to find out more about him. Once you have done this, draw a picture of your local area in the style of John Constable. You can use watercolour paints, chalk or pastels in your picture.
Don't forget to email in your pictures. Look after yourselves and try to stay positive.

There are lots of activities for you to have a go at on the school website. You don't have to do all of them but have a go at some of them. You still need to continue learning and keep your brains active.

Come on Year 5 I know you can do it!
Hi Aleks it's great to hear from you. I enjoyed reading through the work you have done on The Gruffalo. You did some rhyming about the Gruffalo. What if YOU were the Gruffalo? You could try writing a short poem in first person as the Gruffalo. Another idea is what if the Gruffalo became a herbivore? You could design another menu. What type of plants would he eat?
Have you had a go at making the viking ships and testing them out yet?
Are you still keeping up with your steps?
Please thank your Mum for emailing your work in. I can't wait to see what else you have been up.
