Welcome Year 5 to a new term. I hope you all had a GREAT summer and that you are all feeling refreshed and ready.
Some of the topics we will be covering are:
Earth and Space
Black Inventors (Black History Month)
We will also be building on and improving our skills in maths such as Number, Place Value, Multiplication and Division.
PE will be on Thursday so please make sure your PE kits are in school.
Our first science topic is Earth and Space.

"I now know that once you have hit SEND you cannot get it back." Daniel.
" I have learnt that cyberbullying is pretty much the same as bullying the real world." Aleks.
"I have learnt that when you are chatting online, you should not give away your personal details." Gabriel.

" I now know that I should read all of the Terms and Conditions before downloading any games and if I am not sure I should ask my parents." Grace

in front of or behind pictures or text." Christine.
"We used our skills that we have been improving on in netball to play hand tennis. In netball we have to use chest passes (our hands need to be placed correctly on the ball) and in hand tennis we have to make sure our hands (that we use as rackets) are flat and our fingers are closed so the ball does not slip through. We need to make sure that our partner is ready to catch the ball." Daniel.
We had class competition and Femi was the CHAMPION!
