WEEK 8

'LOCKDOWN' WEEK 8

Hope you are all well.  Just think...... this would have been our SATs week!!

TEST after TEST after TEST after TEST after TEST after TEST

But they'll be no tests here this week !!

Anyway, I finished reading 'The Book of Hopes' from last week - I thought most of it was really inspiring. More pages that I particularly liked were:

Hope-o-potamus pg 135; The Greatest Gift pg 253; Teaching a Bird to Fly pg 350

Have a look and see what appeals to you.

Alternatively, try reading Hunters of Hope (pg 326) if you want a writing idea to create something of your own.

I hope you've also seen the message about online book resources from BEXLEY LIBRARIES - it's on the 'Resources for children while school's closed' page. Click on the link at the top of this page. This is a great time to catch up on those books you've always wanted to read but never quite had the time.

Also this week, I have found this brilliant art idea. Look at the lesson from Oak Academy and see what you can come up with. Be creative.

Stay safe, don't drive your parents mad, look after yourselves and hopefully we'll see each other soon.
