Week 3.3

Friday Round-up Week 3:3 (24th Jan '25)

A busy week reviewing our English and Maths tests from last week and 'getting our teeth' into our History topic in preparation for next week's Hall Place trip. We looked at the 'Kindertransport system' in 1938 and learnt some of the key dates for events in World War Two.

We began a new way of completing VIPERS comprehensions, which seemed popular, and on Wednesday, it was dry enough to get out to enjoy the loose play equipment.

Thoughts about our week:

"I enjoyed talking to our visitors. I was able to tell them about our school using the knowledge I have been taught."  Obafemi

"I had fun teaming up with a partner in PE - we mimicked each other."  Nathaniel

"This week I've enjoyed adding dialogue to a story -  we used our settings from Goodnight Mr Tom"  Imisi
