'LOCKDOWN' WEEK 3 - *** Happy Birthdays to Edward and David ***
Hope you are all well.
I've found an interesting book website that you might enjoy. It's sooperbooks.com; obviously this isn't a spelling test !! Some of the stories remind me of Roald Dahl's short stories and poems.
You could just listen to or read the stories; perhaps read them to younger children; do some illustrations for them or they might inspire some of you to do a little writing especially the poems! You never know !!
Also, I wondered if anyone has reflected on some of the learning we've already done this year? Yes, I'm talking about EMBEDDED LEARNING again!.
Perhaps you could research some more about WW1 or WW2 - make a comparison to what's happening now. In years to come, children might study the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic ! As they say, you are part of history in the making.
Has anyone had a go at making another mountain? Plenty of time for papier mache to dry !
What about another picture in the style of Jacqueline Hurley? (Remember: black and white - splash of red poppies)
Of course, Mathletics and Reading Eggs are still available.
Whatever you choose, please do something to keep your minds active and healthy! You will have to go back to school at some point in the future.
Stay safe, don't drive your parents mad and look after yourselves.
