Week 2.5

Friday Round-up Week 2:5 (6th Dec '24)

Our Maths work this week took the form of percentages - tricky but now not-so-scary! Plenty of evolution work in Science including using a toilet roll to show how scientists show how recently animals and plants have been around compared to the life of the Earth. Some homophone work in English and, in Art, we created some wonderful stars from old twigs for our Christmas hoops.

Thoughts about our week:

"I really enjoyed myself on Bikeability - it taught me road and bike safety."  King

"I enjoyed making our stars. We made them out of 6 sticks - two triangles overlapping."  Ella

"Maths was fun; I have improved my use of percentages."  Emmanuel

"We looked at how animals adapt to their environment and evolve as a result."  Imisi
