Friday Round-up Autumn Week 2.3
We've had a busy week. Firstly, re-capping and embedding our Electricity knowledge from Year 4 by making simple circuits before moving on to more tricky ones next week. All the photos are in the Gallery (Science section) below. The electrical knowledge is good - some of the photography skills need a bit of work !!
We found time to sign-up for the Army (World War One style) which has led to some fantastic, emotional writing about how young men would have felt about it back in 1915.
We've cracked the mystery of equivalent fractions with most of the class now and so, we are ready to push on with adding and subtracting fractions next week.
Again, we were successful in the Achievement assembly, Bradley and Keir sharing the KS2 Achievement of the Week prize for helping fellow classmates with their work.
Our thoughts about this week:
"I enjoyed our Science lesson on electricity; I made a simple circuit including a switch."
"I really enjoyed our electricity work this week."
"I enjoyed our Maths lesson- it was great."
