Week 1.4
Friday Round-up Week 1:4 (27th Sept '24)
Congratulations to Jadesola, Cody and George for winning the KS2 Sports Award this week in Achievement Assembly (unfortunately Cody was absent). This was for their enthusiasm in the team games we were playing in PE.
In another busy year 6 week, we have revised written addition and subtraction methods in Maths, looked at the active and passive voices in English texts and completed a couple of comprehensions exercises.
Our Geography topic on mountains is well under way and we continued to play our team games in PE. In our Music topic on the Jazz style, we learnt two new tunes on the glockenspiels (photos to follow) and found out about famous musician and composer Burt Bacharach.
