'LOCKDOWN' WEEK 9
Hope you are all well and perhaps enjoying a little more freedom as the Lockdown rules ease slightly.
So we now know that returning to school might be happening for some pupils around the country really soon, but I'm afraid, not for our Year 6. We just don’t have the space or the staff to safely accommodate the return of our Year 6 class, whilst sticking to the Government guidelines.
However, if Year 6 pupils want to book individual meetings with Mrs Skinner and me to discuss any concerns you may have, to get some help with the work being set, or just to simply drop in and say hello, then don't forget to email so we can start to work out a plan.
Ok, now for a bit of a moan....lots of Yr 6 pupils are not using Mathletics and Reading Eggs very much. Please get logging in and using this valuable resource. It is vital that you keep working on your Maths and Reading whilst not at school.
Anyway, moan over and onto some work for this week, here's the next Evolution lesson from Oak Academy, if you have done the first two. Click on the link below. If you want to catch the other two lessons first, they are in Week 6 and 7 below.
Next, it's time for THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING MEDALS.
Read through the story, check out the suspects, then start solving the clues - Maths problems this time - to find out who the culprit was.
Here are Clue 1 (don't forget both 2D and 3D shapes are used) and Clue 2 (remember the culprit is faster than this time!) ; I'll post more clues later in the week.
It's Wednesday, so here are Clues 3 & 4 to help you narrow down the suspects. After this, you'll be getting really close to the solution!! (Remember for Clue 4 the MODE is the answer that appears the most times.)
And finally Clue 5 and a confession from the culprit !!
NOW A LINK TO THE ANSWERS TOO !!
