Where the Wild Things Are Book Read Aloud | Children's Books Read Aloud | Bedtime Stories

Hey Happy Readers!! Welcome to our Children's Books Read Aloud! In this video we read one of the most popular children's books and bedtime stories, a winner...

Please watch the video of Where the wild things are.

We are going to write a recount of this story but first we must plan how we are going to write it.

Parents please watch this story with your children and ask them questions about this book. Here are some ideas for questions to ask;

  • What sound do the wild things make?
  • Why is “BE STILL” in capital letters?
  • Why did Max send the wild things off without their supper?
  • When Max felt lonely where did he want to be?
  • Why did the Wild things want to eat Max up?
  • Where did Max go at the end of the story?

Tomorrow we will start to write a plan!
