English

Using your completed story plans from yesterday, today we are going to start writing our story. This is called story sequencing. Sequencing means to make sure our story writing is in the right order.

Think about how you would start your story.

Using Where the wild things are as our focus, think about the beginning of your story.

Making sure you use full sentences, start to write your story opener using your plans from yesterday.

Below is a bank of words you might need to help you.

Talk to your Mum, Dad, Sister or Brother about your first sentence.

Say your sentence to yourself. Does it make sense?

Use the pictures below to help you sequence the story in the right order.

Which picture shows the start of the story?

Try to write a sentence for each picture once they are in the right order.

Don't worry, I don't expect you to do the whole story today but if you do that's great!

This will be your English work for tomorrow too so you have lots of time to finish.
