Sum 1.1
Friday Round-up Summer Week 1.1 (22nd April '22)
We have reached the final term
- the last for our wonderful Year 6 at Northwood.
It'll be jammed packed even more than usual. Curriculum highlights will include:
Science: Light and Shadows
Geography: Global caretakers
Art/DT: Shadow projects
as well as PE, Music, Computing, RHEd, RRs , SoS,
Maths and English!
There's the small matter of our SATs tests and the build up to our end of Year production.
Although it's only been 3 days, we've explored emotions with The Bexley Women's Aid team (see the photos below), discussed and drawn our thoughts about how refugee children might be similar and/or different to us and started our revision of Grammar and Maths topics.
More success in Achievement assembly......
Toni, Kayla and Ethan won the KS2 Achievement of the Week for their thoughtful contributions to the Women's Aid Session.
Our thoughts about this week:
"I really enjoyed the session on feelings it was fun, especially the human modelling of emotions."
Oreofe
"I liked revising our work on shapes. I'll remember what a rhombus is now because it's like a square that an elephant has sat on !!"
