Friday Round-up Spring Week 2.4 (18th March '22)
A bit of a strange week....Monday's brilliant art lessons painting Cityscapes in various styles (photographs below and in the Gallery) were followed by a 'Stay and Learn' about Antarctic explorers without any parents on Tuesday. More Shakespeare plays (A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night and Hamlet) have been studied and we've begun our 'Historical theme over 1000 years' projects.
Our thoughts about this week:
"I liked writing the letter that tricked Malvolio in Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night. I'm really enjoying all of his plays."
Elianna
"I enjoyed talking about the Antarctic explorers and what they went through to reach their goals."
Oreofe
"I have a great idea about what I want to do for my History over 1000 years project."
Toni
"I really enjoyed learning how to draw the perfect circle using a compass. Even though it was difficult, I achieved it after many attempts."
Joshua
"I learnt how to draw and name of the parts of circle."
Kacper
"Twelfth Night by Shakespeare was amazing. I found writing Malvolio's letter made me think a lot about the play."
