Now we know a bit more about complex sentences and the suffix -ate and -en, let's try putting it to use.

I would like you to write about an animals journey through a forest.

You can pick the animal (obviously it has to to be physically able to walk through a forest) and you can choose what it gets up to. The only real thing that I'm looking for is the use of those suffixes and complex sentences.

Think back to our work on food chains to get ideas about what might happen during your walk. Maybe another animal will try to eat you! Maybe you'll try to eat some other animal! Maybe your home might've been destroyed by litter!

>Blue work: Try to write a full page and include speech in your work... We'll just say that all animals can talk!
