The whole school had an assembly called BE BRIGHT, BE SEEN to encourage children to be safe and make sure they can be seen during the dark winter evenings.

All the children entered a competition to see who wore their brightest clothes.

Year 5H had great fun creating their own 3d shapes using art straws and polydron. Can you name any of the shapes they have made?
Year 5H have spent the last 6 weeks working on and improving their fitness skills.
We have really enjoyed our topic on the Earth, Sun and Moon.

We produced some information posters on planets in the Solar System.

In art we experimented with colours to show different tones. We used this technique to help us with our sketching. We then transferred those skills to our paintings. Some of us went even further by adding tissue paper and glitter to show texture and depth.

Here we are sketching the local landscape.

We used our sketches to create pastel landscapes.
Can you guess which photographs we used to create these pictures?
