Kacper and Kajus really enjoy watching the colour crew collection to learn the names of colours in English. They now know the names of most of the colours and some objects that are that colour. Well done Kacper and Kajus! :-)

Today our year 5 dream team were learning about the difference between nouns and pronouns. We were able to use pronouns in place of a specific noun correctly in a sentence.

Jennifer did a great job at changing the nouns in these sentences into pronouns.

The little girl had an ice cream.        She has an ice cream.

The elephant has a long trunk.          It has a long trunk.

Mrs Stiles is really funny so all the children love her lesson.

She is really funny so they love her classes.

Can you think of a sentence including each of these personal pronouns?

Nikolay, Ivolay and Denis enjoyed using Purple Mash on the computers today to learn new vocabulary about classroom objects. We designed our own classroom and were able to talk about what we had included in it.
